Top 3 reasons people choose Rugbytots for their child

1. A great introduction to Tag Rugby

Our 5–7s kids ’ rugby classes introduce children to the basics of Tag Rugby. They’ll begin to understand simple rules, positioning and team play while developing skills such as passing, moving into space and tagging, giving them a confident and enjoyable first step into the game.

2. A stepping stone towards joining a sports club

Not every child is ready to jump straight into a club environment. Rugbytots offers a fun, supportive stepping stone where children can flourish and get used to team-based activities at their own pace. This helps them feel more prepared when the time is right to move on.

3. Fun always comes first

These sessions keep the same fun-first, non-competitive approach that makes Rugbytots so enjoyable. Children use age-appropriate equipment and take part in games designed specifically for their stage of development. When the weather turns, depending on location, outdoor sessions can move indoors so the children can keep learning all year round.

FAQs

People always have a question or two when taking their child to something new. So, here are four things we get asked the most about Rugbytots classes.

What if we try it and it ’s not for us – what ’s your refund policy? 2026-08-31T09:38:03+00:00

Totally understandable — it ’s normal for children to take a little while to settle into something new. If, after your first two sessions, Rugbytots still isn ’t the right fit, we ’ll give you a full refund under our two-week policy. Just get in touch with your local team within 48 hours after your second class. Note the refund covers your Starter Kit too (as long as it ’s unworn and unopened).

Can I join part way through a term? 2026-08-31T09:39:22+00:00

Absolutley. The Rugbytots programme is designed so you can join at any stage within a term of classes.

Do you offer free taster sessions? 2026-08-24T18:32:40+00:00

In many areas, yes! Because spaces are booked live online, availability does depend on how full a class is — so you may see a free taster option when you search, or you may not. Use our Franchise Locator to get in touch with your local team and check what ’s on offer near you.

What should my child wear – and is there anything we need to bring? 2026-08-24T18:32:11+00:00

Comfy, easy-to-move-in clothes and footwear are perfect — whatever your little one feels confident in. You ’ll get your Rugbytots kit in your first term, which most children love wearing to class. It ’s also worth bringing a drink along, for during and after the session. Other than that, we provide everything else so that you and your child can focus on having lots of fun!
